A self-taught and self-promotion business project at cost zero with HIGH PROFIT
With the freeware software Scribus I paginated the book, with Amazon’s Kindle Create I created my first eBook photo book. Later I also made the paper version, and now also with hard cover.
After the first two months with limited sales, a period began with continuous purchases, almost daily, of the various book models: Ebook, paper book, reading of the pages in the KDP Select project. The sales trend is now around € 20-30 per month.

For this artwork I wanted to create something that reminded me of the importance of living everything with love. At any time, life could end, but the love we passed on will remain forever.
The backpack like home, like culture that creates heavy barriers so as to take you to the bottom of the sea. Women who intervene to help others by saving as many children as possible from an uncertain future, even if I would lose him.
I thank the women in my life who have saved me from death several times.

ANCESTRALE is a collection of new works and from various projects already exhibited. I made these works during the pandemic, when human relationships were reduced to a minimum. At that time I could rely heavily on my “intrinsic experience” to answer the new questions about existence and how to face the future. This experience has been handed down to me in part from the past and is present in the DNA as a huge ancestral archive and in part I acquired it during my growth and my experience. Those who best influenced my experiences are precisely women, always present in my existence and I give them all my admiration and respect, for their intrinsic ancestral power.
The ancestral woman. The Energy of the Ancestral Feminine, the lifeblood, is generous, kind, patient, inclusive, pacifying, offers listening, nourishes the body and spirit, radiates beauty and joy, expresses strength and determination without aggression, is welcoming and never in competition. , manifest compassionate wisdom. The woman who knows the secrets and mysteries of giving and nourishing life, “scandalous and magnificent” at the same time, an archetype of great and ambivalent power, in the psychology of Jung the Great Mother is one of the numinous powers of the unconscious. The ancient ancestral female wisdom is a precious contribution to the deep bonds between the generations of women who live today and the distant ancestors in time.

Reference: “When, then, the concept of” God “began to appear among humans, it was very different from the present one; the first god was female; this is quite natural to understand because if God is the creator of everything, who better than a woman can represent the creation of life and become the creative symbol par excellence? Who better than her can take care of her creatures, just as a mother breastfeeds and takes care of her offspring? It was only later, with the advent of agriculture and the abandonment of nomadic life that the concept of God began to change. There was almost a coup d’etat by the male god against his female antagonist, which has relegated women, from then until today, to a subjugated and socially inferior position compared to men. “ https://www.uaar.it/libri/dio-nato-donna/ God was born a woman – Sexual roles at the origins of divine representation – Pepe Rodríguez

If the proceeds exceed the cost, the difference will be donated to some people whom I have portrayed, of whom I know the precarious economic situation. I would like to help them hope.
I would like to help people to remember, but above all to understand the relevance of photography and the spread of images as part of our culture to be handed down, also through books as a means of communication.
I would like to do a photographic exhibition in Tirana, with all the images from the book. Showing the two periods with A3 prints, using the compositions that are in the layout of the book. The profit from the sale of the exhibition prints, will be donated to families with children, who live in poverty.
WHAT I NEED
I started with some initial personal investments, now I need a financial support to continue this project. Your support will help me cover these expenses and will also allow me to focus on the development and expansion of this project.
I also accept help from organizations or states around the world where I can spread this project.
I don’t want anything to come without effort and hard work, I have always worked very hard to get better my talent for a good use. Consider helping us print THE BOOK!
I’m raising money to cover the cost of printing the book.
WHO I AM
I have acquired a good deal of experience in photography and related fields during my career. I have always been passionate about photography, as a job and as a discovering in aesthetic communication, during my travels I found inspiration for my research on the relationship between society and how to interpret it, from 1980 to today. I started photographing using the development and printing of black and white films, making all the photographic developments by mixing the basic chemical elements, gaining experience with all types of 35mm, medium format and optical bench cameras. Later I adapted myself to the new digital processes. My research is focused on the relationship between perception and reality, between illusion and truth, materials and surfaces that reveal details of a distorted reality. I started photographing when I was young, I have traveled to many countries around the world (Sydney, New York, Athens, Eastern countries, North Africa, London, Barcelona), but especially in my native country, Italy. Working in photography, with study and research, I gained experience as an experimental photographer, in a wide range of styles and services: commercial photography, still life, advertising and fashion photography, reportage and street-photography.
This is an important long-term project done with several trips to Tirana between 1992 and 2019. I’ve split the book into two chapters that represent two different temporal visions of the same places in Tirana. My goal is show the identity of a city that changes according to the economic impact.
Tirana 1992 Liberation. Scanned images from color slide and black and white negative. 122 images Color Negative Series – Nikkormat FT2 Camera Black and White Series – Nikkormat FT1 Camera
Tirana in 2019, the new contemporary era. Images in high resolution digital camera. 247 images Color Series – Canon 5Ds Camera
For fundraising I offer the original printed photo book, art prints and postcards to help me raise enough money to cover the costs for the project!
You can support the project without a reward by donating even one euro
THE PROJECT
In 1992 few photographers was into Albania because in Yugoslavia was a war, and a series of armed conflicts, civil wars and secessionist conflicts, in various territories. I went to that dangerous territory too, because, like other reporters, I was photographing the war, to get the most representative photograph of human conflict, a spasmodic search for crime news for to have a publication on the world’s best-known magazines. When I saw the war front I saw desolation, fear and suffering, and the death, and it all made me heartsick, so I left Sarajevo across Montenegro for Tirana in Albania. Today I discovered that the images that I’ve done there, are very important, because they are among the few that exist. So I want to print this book, to leave a piece of culture as an inheritance to the young people of the city. Some copies will be given to families, without financial means, with children. I hope you like the project, and I hope you will participate in buying the book.
Tirana 1992 and 2019, images of two historical periods of Albania
1992: The post-communist period, is when the dust of political upheavals was breathed, before the Maastricht Treaty came into force in 1993, the year of the official establishment of the European Community. Politics and economic poverty had transformed the landscape and the population. Each person had adapted to the surrounding world, creating new ways to face the day, to survive. 2019: Today what has changed in the people? How do they face the journey towards globalization? I am looking for spaces in which to see how people adapt the environment to their needs, where I try to photograph the interaction between their own tradition, and the rules established by the new urban settlement. Migration to cities as a movement of inclusion and economic exclusion, where space and the social are in a structural relationship; where do urban development begin and where does it end? Where urban transformation means regenerating spaces for sharing and social inclusion. Albanians are strong people with its own traditionalist and cultural identity. The people went through periods of invasion and wars, with great courage, that have left the country in economic poverty but it has always reacted with great power and adaptability. After the collapse of the dictatorial communist party the people could be reborn, free to express themselves and to choose, to recover that freedom that had been taken away from them. In the evolution of the human being the exchange of intuitive ideas and thoughts has always been the best means to grow and evolve, in the freedom of expression. In order to simply live, and simply appreciate the life given to us by God, whoever God is, Jewish, Sikh, African, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Christian or the sun, it does not matter, the human being coexists with the others simply because what matters is to be alive.
WHY HELP ME
EN: With your contribution I would like to reach the necessary quota to be able to distribute the book free of charge to young people living in Tirana, through the school, bookshops and newsstands. Furthermore, I would like to organize photographic exhibitions in various places in the city, to make the images accessible, especially the photographs relating to 1992, a period politically and economically important for the population.

BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1967 in a town in the province of Lucca, by a peasant family. Growned by three important figures in his life, his mother, his grandmother and his sister, with whom he shared the period of adolescence full of changes. Luca Brogi has radicalized a strong desire to record and document, as a sort of obsessive inner search. At the age of 8-9 he practiced with a small ZIMMERMANN camera. In 1979 with his first 35mm COSINA CT-1 camera he recorded family moments on vacation and in home life.
In 1992 he went to the “DAMS”, University of Bologna in the field of artistic disciplines, in a period in which the city thrilled with changes and political agitation. A city where he found the first professional assignments as a stage photographer with the academic professor “Giuseppe Liotta”, an important figure in the Italian Theatre. He also knew Luciano Nanni, professor on discipline of aesthetics, and Italo Zannier “History of Photography”, that left an indelible mark in the Luca Brogi’s vision of the photographic art.
In 1995 he moved to Milan where he acquired highly professional experience in the field of fashion and design photography, working with internationally famous photographers, like: Andrea Marchionni, Malena Mazza, Douglas Ordway and Sofia Riva, and in highly specialized photographic studio such as the “Superstudio1” of Fabrizio Ferri.
In this period, in addition to having improved his skills in the advertising lighting and fashion photography sector, he made his first professional works collaborating with some important Italian and international companies.
In addition to photography, his experience ranges from video to strategic communication and marketing planning with print production.
Now he is dedicated to the research of visual communication, using various types of languages and expressive forms of contemporaneity, projects designed to narrate the situation in real time. The use of various materials and the use of structures to create installations is the artist’s current commitment.

It is a bit as if the suggestions of the real world were allowed to enter only after being transformed into an abstract experience.
Photographic project focused on the power of the fantasy and the imagination. “Photography”, from the Greek words PHOS and PHOTOS light and GRAPHIA from GRAPHOS to draw, translated: writing with the light. In the digital processing, with the use of post-production, burnt images can be obtained if digitally modified denaturing the photograph’s subject, burning the chromatic levels to get a new light and new colors that I like. Recording of a collaboration between light and non-static matter. Digital processing can create an illusory world, that my mind wants to see beautiful, is my need. By combining the paper support of the printed image with an equally changeable material, I want to see their transformation, without taking away the beauty, if beauty is also in the change.
Some photographs about “The Imaginary” Project on display at the “Almarosa” in Forte dei Marmi, were seen on channel TV Canale 5 during a television program “Striscia la Notizia” on October 22, 2019
Photographic project focused on the atmosphere of an area of the Canary Islands, where the wind and the volcanic earth are dominant elements.
It is a circular installation, from the center of this structure you can see the images placed in circular one next to the other as in a carousel, listening to the sound of the wind.
The Canary Islands are of volcanic origin, an aspect that we can find everywhere, the atmosphere that breathes brings me to a distant past of the earth as a planet, our elementary origins. We human beings are born from the elements that the volcanoes have scattered throughout the planet, in the Canaries these elements are very present as the wind is present as a connecting element between the spaces, the wind that carries the spores, these two elements create this special atmosphere full of sensations and emotions, they remind me to be part of a very vast and powerful ensemble.
EN: Physical or sexual violence against women: 6.670 per day in Italy, 3.324.200 per day worldwide. The impact on children is devastating, many die of direct and indirect violence, adopted children and possible obvious psychological traumas.
Woman as Divinity, God is woman. The matter from which we all derive. Since the dawn of life on earth, femininity has always been at the center of the universe, because it creates life. In human populations, the woman was seen as a divinity, because she was the creator of the universe and of new life, a source of culture, a valiant warrior and a wise counselor. We can find an infinite number of archaeological finds throughout the world and in every culture or religion, of divine female figures. In today’s period, when most of the world has lost the path of respect, interconnection and love, the woman returns as a divinity to restore peace, wisdom and life.

I would like to photograph the people of all ages and places
These are some photographic portraits taken in various places, these people, after I talked to them, they helped me to find a single shot that simply represented them, in that moment, in that place. Now I hope to be able to meet them again.
